What's new in Tignes & Val d'Isere Bike Parks this Summer

A few small changes for summer 2014

featured in News & reviews Author Ellie Mahoney, Val d'Isere Editor Updated

The Val d'Isere and Tignes Mountain biking areas are connected, and still free to ride all summer long (28th June to 31st August). Here's a quick run down of a few new things to look out for this summer..

In Tignes there will now be three lifts for you to take mountain bikes on. As well as the Palafour chair lift & the Toviere (aeroski) gondola you now have access to the Tufs chair lift from this summer.

One in one out though, as the Solaise chair in Val d'Isere will not be taking bikes this year.

On the trails, they've built a new green track called 'Popeye' in Val d'Isere which is 12km long and they've added a few new features to the other trails there too.

In Tignes 'Funky Tufs' has been elevated to a red grade from blue, with more jumps to keep you entertained, plus they've changed the start of the green trails on the Palafour side, and Black Metal on the Toviere side has had a bit of attention too.
