Val d'Isere Lift Pass Options - Summer

The Pass’Sports card is a pre-charged activity card that enables you to take part in a whole host of activities in Val d’Isere without worrying about carrying a load of cash or credit cards with you. Bought new, the card automatically has €50 of credit on it which you can spend directly at your chosen activity. Also, by using the card you will get an additional 5% discount on the standard public rates (except at the Manchet Club House, the STVI lifts, the Sun Bar and on white water activities).

Initially, the card itself costs €10 which will be refunded to you on its return. As you use up your credit, the card can easily be re-charged at one of the sales points (no minimum amount) and any residual balance on the card will be carried over to subsequent summers, although it cannot be refunded. Should you lose your card then a new one can be issued and credited with your outstanding balance within 24 hours of reporting the loss or theft. The card is valid indefinitely, but if you do not use it for 4 years, then it will be cancelled and the remaining balance is lost.

Passes can be bought and re-charged at the swimming pool (9am – 8pm) in the resort centre and the Manchet Valley Club House (9am – 7.30pm)

**If you are holder of a Val d’Isere Carte Neige, with a Pass’Sports card you will benefit from 10% discount on activities organised by the Service des Sports (football, mini-golf, nature walks, archery, Via Ferrata, hip-hop, horse riding etc).

For €24, a 6 day Summer Pass will give you unlimited access to the swimming pool and two trips on the pedestrian lifts, as well as access to the following activities:

• Tennis courts
• Golf practice area (30 balls)
• Archery (1/2 hour)
• Shooting Stand (12 shots)
• Fun Park (5 times max)

A 3 day duration of the summer pass is also available for €18 which will give you unlimited pool access, one trip on the lifts and 3 of the above activity sessions.

Further reductions are also given on the presentation of your pass for these activities:

• Fencing – 1hour free tuition, Sunday 10-11am
• Hip-Hop – 10% off 1 hour
• Gym/Step – 10% off all products
• Adventure course – 10% reduction
• Tennis – Free 1.5 hour group lesson, Sunday 10.30am – 12.00
• Acrobatics – 10% off all products
• Dance – 1 hour free with a 6 day pass
• Horse Riding – 10% reduction on pony trekking
• Football – 10% reduction
• Paragliding – various reductions available on flights taken before 10am

Passes are valid from 27th June to 30th August 2009, but please note that the Manchet Sports Park closes on 28th August.

This summer, certain accommodation owners* are offering free activity passes to visitors staying in their properties. The “Gift” Pass is valid for between 1 – 6 days and will allow you unlimited access to both pedestrian lifts and the swimming pool completely free of charge. You will also be entitled to try your hand at the following activities:

• Tennis courts
• Golf practice area (30 balls)
• Archery (1/2 hour)
• Shooting Stand (12 shots)
• Fun Park (5 times max)
• One free hike with a guide
• Plus further activity discounts (see Pleasure Pass)

The “Gift” pass offer is valid from 6th July to 31st August when booking accommodation with any of the following partners* (still TBC for 2009):
