Off-piste powder finding! ... Top Ski is the original independent ski school in France, founded in 1976. At the time the school was unparalleled and to this day the feeling is that Top Ski is probably the best ski school in the world. More recently they have been awarded the Golden Ski Awards - Ski School of the Year 2003. The secret to this success has been attributed to their staying small, keeping group sizes small, having a team of professionals of the highest quality and a genuine love of the mountains.
Pat Zimmer (founder and Director) told me that the main theme of the school is to 'take an average piste skier and to make them great off-piste'.
