Staff at Valdinet.Com

Alison Shayler
[ Skinets Administration ]
Alison is reasonably new to the Alps, having moved to Chamonix in the summer of 2006. Intending to stay just for one winter, the bug bit and plans to return to Liverpool have been well and truly shelved for the foreseeable future. Alison is an enthusiastic, albeit amateur, skier!

Caroline Face
[ Ski News Reporter ]
Caroline joined the Skinets team at the beginning of the 2007/08 season to assist with our news reporting. No stranger to the Alps, she has been living in Chamonix for a number of years and when she's not on the tail of a good story, she's generally found up the hill on her board.

Chris Richard
[ Ski Editor ]
A director of the company behind Skinets.com, Chris is ultimately responsible for the sites and their content. Having produced much of the early content for the sites, Chris oversees the on-going work to improve standards. A serial seasonnaire since leaving university, Chris now only skis when the snow is in perfect conditions, the weather is fair and the queues are not existant - so about three times a season then!

Debbie Priestley
[ Val d\'Isere Reporter ]

George Long
[ Senior Sales & Account Manager ]
George has been in France for 9 years and joined Skinets.com in November 2006. After many seasons working throughout France for a large tour operator, he has now settled in the Chamonix valley. George looks after all the partner businesses that feature on our sites. If you are interested in featuring on the Skinets.com please be sure to get in touch with him!

Helen McGrory
[ Resort Reporter ]
Helen is a freelance reporter based in Chamonix. Having worked for Skinets.com for 4 years and in the ski industry for many seasons, Helen is a passionate snowboarder (and apres-skier!) and happiest when out and about in the mountains.

James Fisher
[ Ski Video Reporter ]
James was the first snow reporter for Valdinet.com and has since moved over to being our Video Snow Reporter for Val d'Isere. James works part-time for Henry's Avalanche Talks as a presenter and trainer - and so has extensive knowledge of the snow conditions and what they can mean. James snowboards and has been known to compete in Big Air competitions.

Jess Whiskin
[ Site Content Editor ]
A new addition to the Chamonix office, Jess is responsible for managing the skinets.com sites across the Alps and looking after our network of resort reporters. Fully fluent in French, 2009 will be her fourth winter in the mountains. She enjoys being outdoors whenever possible and is a keen snowboader, rock-climber and beginner skier.

Jonathan Trigell
[ Ski & Resort Reporter ]
Writer of the award-winning novel Boy A, Jon is a regular contributor to the ski press and the Skinets.com sites. Mutli-talented author, compere, video snow reporter and intrepid freeskier, Jon always seems to be where the action is at. You can catch up with his latest exploits on his MySpace.

Katherine Harle
[ Apres Ski Reporter ]
Katherine has spent the last eight winters in Val d'Isere and is a keen snowboarder and organises the anual Princess of the Park.

Mikey Bell
[ Sales & Account Manager ]
A recent recruit to the Chamonix office, Mikey works with George in looking after the accounts of all our partner businesses on the Skinets.com sites. Arrived in Chamonix 5 years ago to do a ski season..... and is still here!

Nick Davies
[ Val d Isere Reporter ]
Nick has been on board from several years now and what he doesn't know about skiing in the Val d'Isere area and the Espace Killy isn't really worth writing about. Based most of the year round in Val, Nick writes regularly as our main snow reporter for the resort, as well as news from around town. During the summer he can often be found pedalling up and down the roads in the region trying to beat his previous records for speed!

Robin Deering
[ Skinets Administration ]
Robin is responsible for managing the skinets.com sites across the Alps. Fluent in French, having lived in various parts of France since 2004. Enjoys nothing more than being outdoors whenever possible; snowboarding, climbing, biking or just having a drink on the terrace!

Rosie Heppenstall
[ Tignes Resort Reporter ]
Rosie was a welcome addition to our Tignesnet.com team in winter 2006/07 and is the person who brings you the regular updates on the apres-ski scene in resort. She lives in Tignes year round and has done so for a number of years. When she's not scouring the town for the best places to party the night away, she's scooting around the mountain on her skis.
