| A view of Val d'Isere's La Face piste & Les Carats |
This is a view of the foot of the La Face piste in Val d'isere, stretching down from the summit of La Bellevarde. La Face is one of Val's most notorious black runs and is often moguled & icy - not recommended for the faint-hearted! The bottom of the run plays host to the Xbox Big Day Out and the World Championship's Men's Race in 2009.
To the right (and across the middle) is the Olypmique ski bubble. In the background on the right is the exclusive hamlet of Les Carats, giving ski-in ski-out access to the slopes. |
