This spacious apartment is situated in the Les Carats area which is perched just above Val d'Isere and has fantastic views over resort with the possibility to ski back to your door via the Face piste.
The property recently went under extensive renovation to create a beautiful contemporary ski home. The finish is a mix of materials including wood, granite counter tops in the kitchen, smoky light coloured oak floors in the living/kitchen/dining and plastered walls. These natural colours are offset by the addition of numerous original and handmade Moroccan rugs.
The property is spread over two floors. On entry a cloakroom area is designated to house all outdoor shoes, coats and ski kit. This opens out to the main room with the kitchen off to the far right of the room in the corner. This includes a high top breakfast bar with stools, large fridge with freezer, induction hob, oven, dishwasher and sink.
The dining area seats eight people comfortably with a 200 x 100 table and a 50 cm insert if necessary.
New leather sofas and two upholstered chairs provide a cosy and relaxed living space with a flat screen television, internet TV and iPod music facility. A second and separate living space is over the other side of the room with a sofa, two arm chairs and TV making it ideal for children or a quiet space for avid readers.
A balcony is positioned on the front of the building that faces south-east but gives you a view to the Solaise mountain sector and the Manchet Valley.
Sleeping
Comfortably sleeps eight people in four en-suite bedrooms. All bathrooms have showers and heated towel rails, one also has a bath tub.
The first bedroom is downstairs and has a queen-sized double bed and plenty of storage. There are a further three bedrooms upstairs that offer a choice of configurations; one has a queen-sized double bed and the other two have single twin beds that can be pushed together if required to make normal-sized double beds.
Dining
The base price for this property is for self catering, however it is possible to rent this property with the following catering options for an additional charge.
'Scatered' (pronounced 'skay tered') - A cross between fully catered and self catered and includes the following:
- Breakfast on 6 mornings, afternoon tea consisting of home baked cake, bread and jams
- 3 evening meals with starter, main, dessert, coffee, chocolates and wine
- Daily clean of the property (6 mornings, chalet host day off Wednesday), maxi towels and bath robes, mid week towel and bath mat change
- Complimentary Clarins toiletries; 30g boxed soap, 60 ml bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided once during your stay
- tissues and toilet rolls
OR
'Bed & Breakfast'
- Breakfast served at an agreed time (but no later than 9.30am) on 6 mornings of the week starting Sunday morning with: freshly baked French bread, a selection of freshly baked croissants & pain au chocolates, butter & jams, french bacon & egg, breakfast cereal, selection of yoghurts, fresh fruit platter, breakfast orange juice, tea, coffee,
