Montet Chalet is ideally located in Le Fornet - the picturesque part of Val d'Isere resort, only a 4 minute walk from the Le Fornet cable-car.
Chalet du Montet is only approximately 4 minutes’ walk from the main Le Fornet cable-car giving direct access into the Espace Killy ski area- perfect for those wanting to be first on the mountain! At the end of the day, experienced skiers can ski directly back to the hotel via an unpisted track.
There is also a shuttle bus stop close to the chalet to access the resort centre and other ski areas.
The du Montet is actually a top-to-bottom conversion of a traditional stone farmhouse, and where possible the owner has left the rustic original stonework exposed. The interior has been totally re-fitted to an exacting and extremely stylish standard throughout, with a contemporary yet comfortable lounge, dining area and bar, fitted with a wood burning stove and with balcony access.
For your entertainment, there is access to flat screen TV's, DVD players, iPod/mp3 docking stations and Wi-Fi with flat screen TV and DVD.
For added convenience, there is a ski & boot room with a boot warmer.
The fantastic facilities are completed by a spa area with steam room, sauna and whirlpool, ideal for unwinding after a long day on the mountain.
Chalet du Montet will be an ‘Xtra Chalet’ – giving you all the benefits of a welcoming chalet, but enhanced by some added extras, including the welcoming residents’ bar, run by friendly and helpful staff.
The Chalet sleeps up to 26 people in 12 bedrooms. Seven twin, three double and two triple bedrooms, all of which are ensuite, with TV, DVD player and wifi access. Cots and linen available.

The shuttle-bus stop (which runs until midnight / until 2:30am in high season) is close to the chalet and can be used for the short ride to the resort centre.
The regular free ski-bus is also useful in the mornings if you wish to start on the Bellevarde or La Daille ski areas for a change.

With beautiful views of the surrounding mountains this bustling village centre is nestled into the valley. Classic chalet style hotels and buildings constructed with stone and wood give the centre of Val d'isere a traditional and warm feel. The centre of Val d'Isere is where the heart of the resort lies and with the beautiful high street, lovely buildings and magnificent surrounding mountains it is easy to see why it remains a popular destination for many.
With an eclectic mix of restaurants to choose from in the centre of Val d'Isere there will be something to suit everyones taste buds. Local french restaurants can be found dotted around the high street along with sushi restaurants, italian restaurants and the more traditional Savoyard restaurants.

Things to Do Nearby
In the winter the centre of Val d'Isere is a buzzing and vibrant place to be. Boutique, designer and sports shops line the high street, restaurants and bars welcome guests from the cold outside and intricate ice sculptures can often be seen dotted around the pavements. With the regular bus services to and from the Rond Point giving access to both the Solaise and Bellevarde ski area, to La Daille and to Le Fornet you can hop on the bus and be at a ski area within minutes.
The summer welcomes beautiful sunshine, green trees and plenty to do. Mountain biking is a popular activity in the summer time with lift access from Val d'Isere to Tignes you can explore the various trails and routes the mountain has to offer. There are also several walking and hiking routes that you can do giving you the freedom to explore the mountains and their breathtaking scenery. Plenty of summer activities can be enjoyed that are perfect for families and groups; you can even jump in the car and in just a short drive over to Tignes indulge in a spot of summer skiing on the Glacier. The centre of Val d'Isere is much quieter in the summer but it still has a lot to offer. The sports centre is open all year round so there is access to the swimming pool and gym, as well as some of the sports shops and restaurants on the high street opening their doors.
