France is the Most Popular Ski Destination in the World
The French reclaim top spot for the first time in 3 years
In 2011/12, France overtook the US and Austria to once again become the most popular destination for skiers worldwide.
While the numbers have been positively received, the DSF (Domains Resorts in France) remain realistic about their overall significance as the 2011/2012 visitor numbers are still way below those experienced during 2008/9 when 58.5 million skier days were recorded.
