The third European X-Games finished on Friday and Shaun White came out on top of both Slopestyle and Halfpipe.

There were no Brits on the podium this year but it was the strongest year for Brits in the finals. James Woods finished in fourth place in the Men's Ski slopestyle just a point and a half behind Andreas Hatveit. King of afterbang Tom Wallisch took second place and Bobby Brown took his second X-Games podium spot this year and the gold medal.

"This whole year has been kinda crazy," said Brown, who last won Slopestyle at Winter X Aspen in 2010. "I haven't been skiing the way I wanted. I just wanted to have a good time and ski with my friends, and that showed today. It's an awesome end to the contest year. I'm on top with Tom and Andreas, and I couldn't ask for two better people."

In the Women's Snowboard Slopestyle Jenny Jones, who has three X-Games gold medals and a silver, finished in seventh place with 79 points and Aimee Fuller finished in ninth place with 45 points in her first X-Games final. First place went to Jamie Anderson whos run second run scored a whopping 98 points. Stylish and smooth Jamie's run gives her a second gold in Tignes after her win last year. Second place went to Spencer O'Brian and Enni Rukajarvi took bronze.

Jamie Nichols was Britain’s entry in the Men's Snowboard Slopestyle. Although he finished in eighth place he qualified for the final ahead of big names like Matheiu Crepel and Danny Davis. In the end though it was Shaun White, making his first appearance at X-Games Europe, who took gold in the slopestyle on a course that was longer and bigger than last year's.

It had been three years since Shaun had been competative on the slopestyle course as he had been focusing on pipe. His run in Tignes proves that he's back on top of his game and on top of the podium with his 16th X-Games gold medal.

"These guys have been pushing the limits of what's possible in the Slopestyle course and they put the gauntlet in front of me," White said. "I think I've finally caught up and I'm happy to be back."

Mark McMorris and Eric Willet finished just behind White who also took the top spot in the Men's Snowboard Superpipe ahead of Loui Vito and Iouri Podladchikov.

With a bigger slopestyle course, smooth pipe and perfect weather the third European X-Games was another success and with the biggest names in skiing and snowboarding competeing on European slopes a great showcase for French resorts. We're already looking forward to next year's event.
