This hotel is located a short walk from the lifts, and has 36 comfortable rooms on offer, a lively bar for apres ski and an International restaurant.

Most of the rooms are double rooms with two single beds or double beds, and there are a few triple rooms. All rooms have toilet and shower or bath tub and are between 13 and 18 square metres. Half of the rooms are east facing and the rest are west facing.

WiFi connection is avaible in the communal areas.

The bar is popular with locals, ski instructors and holiday makers, and the restaurant serves both a 2 course half board dinner and a la carte menu, with influences from around the globe. Take a look at the happy hour offers here.

The Bar

Victors Bar & Restaurant is famous for its tasteful cocktails and lively atmosphere. The bar opens at 16.00 and you can enjoy an ice cold beer outside on the sunny terrace or why not a steamy hot “vin chaud” inside while the snow is falling. As the sun sets over Val d’Isère and day turns into night the bar gets more and more busy and our excellent bar keepers will turn up the funky music and mix your tasty cocktails before you head upstairs or continue out to explore the Val d’Isère night clubs.

The restaurant offers a varied menu of international cuisine ranging from the classic American Victors Burger to Asian fusion dishes. The hotel offers a 2 course half board packages as well as a la carte dining.

In the winter the centre of Val d'Isere is a buzzing and vibrant place to be. Boutique, designer and sports shops line the high street, restaurants and bars welcome guests from the cold outside and intricate ice sculptures can often be seen dotted around the pavements. With the regular bus services to and from the Rond Point giving access to both the Solaise and Bellevarde ski area, to La Daille and to Le Fornet you can hop on the bus and be at a ski area within minutes. 

The summer welcomes beautiful sunshine, green trees and plenty to do. Mountain biking is a popular acitivity in the summer time with lift access from Val d'Isere to Tignes you can explore the various trails and routes the mountain has to offer. There are also several walking and hiking routes that you can do giving you the freedom to explore the mountains and their breathtaking secenery. Plenty of summer activities can be enjoyed that are perfect for families and groups; you can even jump in the car and in just a short drive over to Tignes indulge in a spot of summer skiing on the Glacier. The centre of Val d'Isere is much quieter in the summer but it still has a lot to offer. The sports centre is open all year round so there is access to the swimming pool and gym, as well as some of the sports shops and restaurants on the high street opening their doors.

The centre of Val d'Isere has easy access to the Solaise and Olympique lifts which take you respectively towards the Pissaillas glacier or towards the linked ski area of Tignes - forming the huge Espace Killy ski area.

You’ll need to book your own ski hire, when staying here. There are many choices for hiring equipment. Generally, you’re best off choosing somewhere close for ease of access, & less far to carry your kit, easier to make changes, and quicker to return and pay at the end. Nevertheless, many suppliers will deliver and some snow-front rental stores offer ski lockers, so it’s worth checking out all the options.

You’ll need to buy your own lift pass, when staying here. Lift passes can be booked online or bought in resort on arrival. There are many types of pass available, suited to different levels, length of stay and budget. It’s worth reading up on the options to get the most from your lift pass in summer & winter.

Instructors & Lessons

When staying here, you’ll need to book  your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

During the winter, if you are keen to go off-piste, booking a High Mountain Guide is strongly recommended. BY BUS - From Bourg Saint Maurice train station and from Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry and Grenoble airports, bus lines are existing. BY TRAIN - To reach Val d’isère by train, the nearest train station is located in Bourg Saint Maurice (about 30 kms). You can find numerous trains arriving to this station.
