Oxygène offers some of the best ski-guiding in Val d'Isère.
Make the most of each powder day. If you want to explore the true terrain of the mountain, learn how to ski across powder and ride the line of the season, Oxygene are there to help.
They offer sessions for those that are just starting to explore off-piste through to those that already have plenty of experience and want to find the best powder spots in the valley.
All their mountain guides are fully qualified and have plenty of experience in the local terrain. They all speak English (other languages are also available) so you can relax and communicate with ease.
Oxygene take safety seriously. That’s why when you book one of their Off-Piste & Guiding lessons, they offer helmets and protective padding, transceivers, shovels, probes and ABS bags completely free of charge. At Oxygène, they know how to handle the mountain with care.

- "I joined the advanced off-piste "steep and deep" class lead by guide Christophe. I had the best week's skiing I have had in 30 years. Christophe knew the Val d'isere mountains like the back of his hand and every day led us to new powder and challenging descents. Most important - he had a very keen sense of safety. Great value and would recommend." - Trip Advisor
- "The best ski school / guides in Val d'Isere. I have been there numerous times over the last 15 years and have found them to be the best and also the politest of the Val d'Isere ski schools / guides." - Trip Advisor
- "It's been my second year in a row with Oxygen. They offer a really good package 5x4 hours (9-13) of off piste skiing for a reasonable price. If you like off piste skiing, but you have no one to do it with (possibly because you are on holiday with your family :) ) than this is a good way to enjoy your time. My instructor even took me for a touring trip to Pointe De La Sana and it waw great." - Trip Advisor
What to bring
Oxygène will provide all safety equipment. They recommend helmets for everyone going off-piste, plus wrist guards and protective impact shorts for snowboarders. Make sure you are wearing thermals, gloves, sun cream, sunglasses or goggles. You should feel comfortable in your boots – one pair of socks is sufficient and store them in a warm, dry place overnight.
