Summer hasn't quite come to an end, but it's already been snowing overnight in Val d'Isere!

Weather forecasters are predicting about 9cm over 3500 metres today and 11cm tomorrow, but you're going to have to wait a little longer until there's enough to ski on. The ski area is set to open on 1st October for glacier skiing, with the rest of the ski area opening up on the 26th November.

If you've not booked any accommodation yet, we've got plenty to choose from and there are already lots of special offers on ski hire, transfers, places to stay & lift passes. Once our snow reporters have arrived you can check in on conditions with our Snow Reports.

There's only 15 days to go until the ski season begins...
