Ian Beveridge's Ski School uses ground-breaking teaching techniques to help complete beginners get their skiing careers off to the best possible start and enables seasoned skiers to easily perfect their skills.
Ian is a fully qualified English speaking ski instructor with both UK and French national qualifications. He has been teaching in Val d'Isere for over 20 years so knows the best terrain for each level for skier.
Ian and his team (who are all fully qualified English speaking instructors) offer the very highest standard of professional coaching and guiding, placing your safety, success and satisfaction, first. Ian's "MetaSki" teaching method is scientifically based and focuses on personal development. It provides a genuine alternative to the stringent commercial techniques used by other ski schools. These methods aim to enable rapid learning to ensure you grow towards self-mastery without any plateaus. They are also designed to eliminate all the major causes of fatigue, injury and fear. (You can read all about this unique coaching method on the Ski Instruction Blog - details on their website).
They advise a maximum of 4 students per lesson for morning, afternoon or all-day sessions.
Ian and his team also offer Off-Piste guiding for a maximum group of six individuals and they are able to provide avalanche transceivers. If you don't have your own shovel and probe, packs can easily be rented from local ski shops.
Race training is also available on the Tignes Glacier in both the Summer and Autumn seasons.
