Les Choucas is a fabulous residence in the heart of Val d'Isere. It is a short walk up to the piste and you are right in town, close to all amenities. However, noise is not a problem as the property is set back from the road.

The wonderful thing about this apartment is the fact it is on the top floor so it has beautiful high ceilings, as shown in the pictures. It also has a fireplace, which adds to that winter wonderland feel.

On entry, a closest a hallway with mats for outdoor shoes, a few hooks and then cupboard hanging space for coats further down the hall houses all your ski kit.

Further down the hall you are in the main open plan room that houses the kitchen on your right. This has a black stone worktop, large fridge with a 3 drawer freezer, 4 ring electric hob, oven, dishwasher, sink and washing machine. A kettle, filter (drip) coffee machine and a separate coffee machine that takes Nespresso capsules. Bring your own capsules or you can purchase them from the office.

The dining table sits in front of the kitchen with seating for 6 people. The living area has a large grey L-shaped sofa that runs the length of the room. It sits in front of the fireplace with a large French only TV wall mounted at the end. A separate club chair is also included with a reading light.

A balcony runs off the side of the building with access from the spare double bedroom, main room and master.

Sleeping

The master bedroom is off the living area and includes a double bed with en-suite bathroom. This has a large sink, bath, WC and heated towel rail. The second double bedroom is off the entry hall and has a double bed, small desk with drawers and a separate built in wardrobe and shelving. The third room is a cabine room, and sits opposite with two single bunk beds and a cupboard.

Both additional bedrooms share a separate shower room with shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail.

Dining

The base price for this property is for self catering, however it is possible to rent this property with the following catering options for an additional charge.

'Scatered' (pronounced 'skay tered') - A cross between fully catered and self catered and includes the following:

Breakfast on 6 mornings, afternoon tea consisting of home baked cake, bread and jams
3 evening meals with starter, main, dessert, coffee, chocolates and wine
Daily clean of the property (6 mornings, chalet host day off Wednesday), maxi towels and bath robes, mid week towel and bath mat change
