This apartment is a residence on the Route de Balme, which is very close to the new cable car taking you up to the Bellevarde sector.
It takes a few minutes to walk there and the town centre is about five mins max. The location is great. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, up several small flights of stairs. There is no lift in the building but (honestly) the stairs are not a problem. It is now a very comfortable apartment with contemporary décor that sits well with a touch of classic Savoyarde wood panelling and some wooden furniture. Creams and browns with a touch of colour is the scheme throughout.
On entry to this property you know you are going to be comfortable! The hallway has plenty of hanging space and bench seat to sit down and de-robe. Opposite this area is a shower room with WC and basin. The use of modern materials makes this bathroom light and airy. The hallway cupboards also house a washing machine and separate tumble dryer.
The main room is further down the hall that comprises and open plan living/kitchen/dining room. The sitting room has a large comfortable sofa covered in faux fur rugs and suede and fur cushions, plus two chairs covered in the similar faux fur rugs. This gives the room its cosy and relaxed appeal. The kitchen is hidden behind a bar and includes a large fridge, normal sized oven, four ring electric hob, dishwasher and sink with draining board, toaster and kettle. The dining table sits the other side of the kitchen with a bench seat one side and additional chairs to make up a table to seat eight without a squeeze. There are four bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
Sleeping
The apartment can accommodate eight guests in four bedrooms. A double bedroom with sink, a second double bedroom, a twin room with a third single bed (that also has a pull out for a 4th if required for children), small single compact box room with a single bed.
Dining
The base price for this property is for self catering, however it is possible to rent this property with the following catering options for an additional charge.
'Scatered' (pronounced 'skay tered') - A cross between fully catered and self catered and includes the following:
- Breakfast on 6 mornings, afternoon tea consisting of home baked cake, bread and jams
- 3 evening meals with starter, main, dessert, coffee, chocolates and wine
- Daily clean of the property (6 mornings, chalet host day off Wednesday), maxi towels and bath robes, mid week towel and bath mat change
- Complimentary Clarins toiletries; 30g boxed soap, 60 ml bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided once during your stay
- tissues and toilet rolls

'Bed & Breakfast'
- Breakfast served at an agreed time (but no later than 9.30am) on 6 mornings of the week starting Sunday morning with: freshly baked French bread, a selection of freshly baked croissants & pain au chocolates, butter & jams, french bacon & egg, breakfast cereal, selection of yoghurts, fresh fruit platter, breakfast orange juice, tea, coffee,
