Tignes Compensated with €1M for Loss of X-Games
ESPN Pays Tignes One Million Euros for the Loss of X-Games Europe
Tignes has been pursuing legal action against the American broadcaster ESPN since the European X-Games in Tignes was cancelled by the US company at the end of last year.
The resort had claimed that the event, which was entering it's fifth year this year, was likely to bring €10 Million to Tignes and had taken ESPN to court over a loss of earnings.
It was announced yesterday that Tignes had agreed on a settlement from ESPN for €1 Million that will be used to finance the twelve concerts through out the season.
